Sino Japanese War Triptych by Kokunimasa, Meiji.

Original Japanese woodblock print triptych by Utagawa Kokunimasa (Kunimasa IV 1848 - 1920) showing a nocturnal battle scene near Port Arthur, dated Meiji 27 (1894), published by Katada Ryojiro. The three oban are assembled, fine impression and colors with black highlights (tsuya-dashi). Condition: binding holes on the left margin outside the printed image, in the center slightly wavy due to former storage, creased. Dimension: 37 cm x 70.8 cm.
