After frequently exhibiting at the "Salon des Beaux-Arts" and the "Salon des Independents" in Paris during the late 1920s and early 1930s, he moved in 1939 to French Polynesia. Signed and dated: H. Dumien, 46, on the reverse labelled: "Etude de Javanaise, Oceanie" and with exposition stamp: "Exposition Henri Dumien 1954, Galerie Max Rohr, Berne". Condition: fine, frame with dents.
