Here you find a lovely daunian kyathos with high strap handle. Deep rich colour still present on this piece which is a treat to see as most fade due to the nature of the pigment. Nice oxidation and mineral deposits and geometric patterns around the body of the vessel and handle. Some damage as seen in the photo. Dates approx the 4th century BC and measures 6.5 inches in height.

Ancient Roman terracotta lamp with cuttlefish of Loeschcke type IV, 1st - 2nd century A.D. Mouldmade with brown slip. Deep concave disk within circular moulding with cuttlefish positioned transversely. A small fill hole below, rounded handle and nozzle with two volutes. Raised disk base with planta pedis. Measures 4.5 inches in length. Surface slightly worn but intact.

Beautiful Messapian Kantharos from circa 425 B.C. in perfect condition with some lime particles and traces of mica. Lovely cream colour slip with dark reddish brown geometric bands surrounding the body, handle and inside rim. Down turned rays on the outside rim and belly; all in classic Daunian style. Elegant high bellied body with wide rim and flaring foot. The strap handles are intact and flow right into the rim and belly. Measures 3.6 inches in height by 5.25 inches in diameter...

A nice Etruscan bucchero Kyathos, late 7th century BC, the bowl narrowing to a flat base has a fine incised pattern around the shoulder. The handle is angled and loops to the rim. Handle reattached and section of the body touched up. Measure 7.5 cm Nice deposits.

Here you find a very detailed early Roman mould made oil lamp, circa late 1st-early 2nd century AD. On the discus we find a Murmillo Gladiator facing left, a dagger in his right hand, wearing a visored helmet with tall detailed double crest, a greaves on both legs and a belt worn over his loin-cloth. Measures 3.25"inches at longest point. In good condition with some wear, deposits and broken nozzle.

Ancient Roman oil lamp from circa 100 AD. The central scene in tondo of the circular lamp, shows in raised relief an erotic scene. An encounter of a man and women on a bed, women facing forward and on all four limbs. Erotic lamps as this one, with an open depictions of eroticism would have been used to light bed chambers throughout the Roman Empire. This oil lamp is in good condition with deposits, however nozzle now missing. Measures 3" inches in diameter.

Ancient Roman olive-green coloured free-blown patellae. This ancient vessel has a drawn, low pedestal foot with slight grooves. It also has a very wide and intact tapered rim. The body is flared, bell shaped and very wide. Has a small piece missing and a stable fracture to the body. Measure 4.25 inches wide. Dates to circa 1st-4th Century AD.

Beautiful Unguentarium with a low pear-shaped body with a tall slende neck and a concave base. The glass over the entire surface is dark in colour and a layer with noticeable iridescence of silver, blue and purple. Unguentaria types of free blown glass made throughout the Roman Empire. May have been called "ampulla" in ancient Rome or antiquity. They were easily tooled therefore made perfect vessels for mass production...

A nice blue green glass double chambered balsamarium from circa the 1st to 3rd century AD. These glass vessels were used mainly for holding cosmetics. This fine example has two rolled rims with two opposing handles. One handle has a portion missing (as seen in photo) and an applied thread decoration in the mid area of the body. Rim slightly chipped, lovely colour with earthen deposits. Measures 4.85 inches in height.

Here you find a lovely ancient aquamarine Roman glass beaker, cup. It is intact with only a tiny hole on one side (as seen in photo) and some earthen deposits. It is a freeblown light blue-green example with a small foot and flaring rim. A nice glass thread has been applied just under the lip. Dates to approx. 100 to 300 AD and measures 4 inches in height.

Lovely and hard to find dark brown coloured grapes shaped flask. It has a short neck on under a wide flared rim and still has a stopped attached! This glass flask has a pontil base and can stand on its own. Nice surface and intact said for a small hole as seen in the picture. Measures 2 inches in height.

The technique of mold blowing enabled the ancient glassblower to create vessels that could begin to imitate a wider variety of objects...

Here you find a mouldmade ancient oil lamp. Convex lower part and flat top. In concave disk, a vertical figure of a bird most likely a dove. There is a channel running from the rim to the top of the flat nozzle. On the shoulder we find a vine like pattern. Slight carbon traces and growth deposits still present. Measures 6 inches in length.
