An exquisite Lambayeque double chambered whistling vessel from Peru, ca. 700 - 1200 AD. Depicting an erotic scene, featuring a couple engaged in a sexual act. Both figures are superbly molded and both wearing matching head gear and painted faces in red. The male genitalia and the women’s breasts are clearly visible, both also wearing ear plugs. Stunning stirrup-spouted vessel, depicting the head of a male deity. Has bold facial features. painted cream ground with red-brown highlights. Incised horizontal work on the back (acting as hair) and a chevron pattern on the top of the head. Some mineral deposits on the surface, however in excellent condition said for a small hairline underneath the handle at the back portion of the head (barely visible). Moche Blackware stirrup vessel with high relief decoration depicting a Moche Deity wearing a serpent belt and head-dress, weilding a spear in one hand . This Deity is often portrayed fighting with a sea monster. In this case, the sea monster is portrayed as a crab like creature with human legs. This is a mould made vessel, with a few chips at the base is from the Early Intermediate Period, A.D. 300-600. Height: 8.6 inches. X 6 inches wide.

The skyphoid pyxis was a very popular vase type in the Greek Colony of Sicily. This absolutely RARE terracotta vessel has an ovoid body with two horizontal, loop handles and a knobbed lid. Obverse decorated with a winged figure of Eros having a drapery over his left arm. Reverse side bears draped figure holding a tambourine but is virtually gone. Rare red-figured Globular Apulian lidded pyxis, portraying Nike. The double winged Nike is adorned with a radiate stephane and ribboned saccos , white beaded necklace and earrings. Here you find a sophisticated Apulian Kantharos decorated with a "lady of fashion" on both sides of the cup. Both females are adorned with a radiate stephane, ribbon sakkos, necklace and earrings. Each side is framed by white Ionic columns and the elegant concave handles scroll down to form leaf on the outer portion. The pedestal foot is in four degrees and in solid shape. Overall good condition, with professional restoration to top of rim on one side with original fragments...

This is a very large Nazca bowl which dates to circa 300 A.D. This bowl is decorated in warm and natural colourful hues of orange, red, brown, and cream. The outer panel is decorated with what appears to be flower blossoms which surround the entire bowl. This Nazca bowl has a thin wall construction and is completely intact without any cracks or restoration of any kind. A very reasonable price, for such a large and lovely Pre-Columbian bowl. This is an Exquisite Ancient Egyptian Mummy Mask from the Late Period 716-30 B.C.. Measures 22.8cm., 9 inch. in height. It has wonderfully painted black eyes, eyebrows and wig. Much of the deep rich polychrome remains on this mask. There is a small chip on nose, lip and eyebrow as seen in the photo. An extraordinary example of fine Egyptian Art formed in the 17th century by the Charterhouse School in London, England.
