Here you find a little gem of antiquity. A miniature ancient Greek oil lamp from circa the 2nd century B.C. Made of gray clay and was most likely a votive. It has a lovely head applique adorning the front (perhaps the image of Silenus or a theater mask).The lug style handles are characteristic of Hellenistic oil lamps. In good condition said for missing handle. Measure 2 inches in length.

Here you find an Ancient Egypt stone alabastron in a teardrop shape, two delicate lug handles still present. However the rim is partially damaged. Dates from the Early Dynastic period and in good condition with mineral deposits both on the inside and outside. Nice colour showing, however not as brilliant as the other examples from this collection. Measures 5.2cm in height.

Ancient Egypt alabastron made certainly by a master craftsman. With its perfect teardrop shape, two delicate lug handles, and partially flared rim, this alabastron demonstrates Egyptian mastery of shaping stone! From the Early Dynastic period and in excellent condition save for the damage to the rim. Wonderful colour showing on this piece. Measures 5.8cm in height.

Another lovely piece of well provenanced ancient Egyptian art! This small alabaster sacrificial vase provides a shallow bowl shape with a flat rim and four lugs to use as handles. Circa Early Dynastic Period. Measures 7.7 cm in diameter and is intact!

Here you find a well provenanced Ancient Egyptian Wood Falcon from the Ptolemaic Period, 305-30 BC. Polychromed gesso on wood and intact save for some gesso loss as seen in photo. Eyes and beak are delineated with black pigment and most of the body done in a red and white. Measures 16 cm in length.

Provenance: D.K. Berlin, purchased at Icon Bazar, Cairo in 1974.

Here you find an very large Moche IV-V figural vessel in the form of a drum. It depicts a stylized feline head painted on the side representing the the spirit of the drum. The emanation from the feline's mouth represents it's voice crying out from the spirit world. Very large piece that measures 10 1/4" high.

Here you find an ancient Villanovan blackware impasto pottery cup. It has nice growth deposits and a high looping handle. It dates to approx the 7th century B.C. The Villanovan Culture was located in what is today the Bologna area of Northen Italy. This vessel is intact and measures 4 7/8” in height.
