Beautiful blue/green Ancient Egyptian faience Isis Lactans statue. She is offering her breast in order to nurse her son Horus, wearing a sharp detailed tripartite wig coloured in black faience. From the Third Intermediate Period circa 1000 B.C.

Measures 1 1/4 inches high.

In very good condition, and a much better piece than the picture captivates.

Here you find a very large faience double-sided Eye of Horus. Pierced for suspension. The Eye of Horus is an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection and power and it represents the right eye of the Egyptian falcon god, Horus. As the "udjat" it also represented the sun and was therefore associated with the Sun god Ra. The mirror image or left eye represented the moon and the god Tehuti or Thoth. Dates to circa the Late Period and measures 3.6 inches in width...

Here you find a dark green glazed ushabti of Padihor with a lappet-wig, a nicely modelled face with a beard and parallel hands in relief. The front is inscribed with incised hieroglyphs and the back, a blank pillar. Was broken above the foot and reattached. Tiny piece of faience missing on the top of the head. Measure 5 3/4 inches in height. Circa 30th Dynasty.

Here you find a complete set of 4 sons of Horus from mummy wrappings. This set would have been sewn on the wrapping or threaded on a net of beads, placed on the mummy. Dates to approx the Third Intermediate Period, 1079-800 BC. All with holes for thread, so that they could be sewn onto the bandages of the mummy...

Here you find a spectacular and rare faience statuette of Imhotep. Colour suggests 27th Dynasty. Measures 2.25 inches in height.

Imhotep was the builder of The Step-Pyramid at Sakkara and he was not a king but an artist and scientist. He was also a physician, architect, Pyramid Builder and chief adviser of King Zoser. Imhotep did so much for medicine in Egypt, future generations would have worshiped him as a god of knowledge. Perhaps the father of the arts and sciences...

An ancient Egyptian miniature faience amulet of a squatting baboon. The god Thoth was particularly associated with scribes. Dates to circa the New Kingdom, Ca. 1550-1070 BC. Top of head missing however much nicer than the picture captures. Measures 25 mm.

Here you find an ancient Egyptian scarab made of red jasper. This little beetle has a crosshatched plinth with defined legs and head. Has suspension hole and the underside engraved with a star type symbol. Dates to circa the Middle Kingdom and measures 17mm in length.

Here you find a ring fragment in reddish tone, with cartouche of Ne-fer-ka-re, which translates to "Beautiful is the soul of Re". He was a Nubian Pharaoh therefore this piece dates to 25th Dynasty. Measures 1" in length.

Here you find a very large faience papyrus shaped pillar or sceptre which signified stability and endurance. Dates to the Late Period, 664 - 343 BC. It is in a light blue faience and in perfect condition! This amulet of a papyrus scepter also measures 1.75 inches in length.
