This is romantic set of 12 Schumann Dresden flower cups and saucers, with the 1900 era mark of Carl Schumann; the interior of each cup features a lovely courting scene and both cups and saucers have colorful floral and gilt decoration and raised diagonal weave borders. Words can hardly describe this spectacular Art Pottery centerbowl, made by Amphora Work Riessner, Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia, with the 1918-1939 Riessner company mark ); also marked 20122, 43, and C. The large ivory basketweave bowl with delicate applied flowers is supported by beautifully modeled figures of a boy and girl in pastel drape. Condition: Restored; very minor _ in. hairline crack in boy’s hair, firing crack on base. Measurement: 14 _ in. diam x 11 _ in. high.
