| Wonderful Art Nouveau style 19th century silk hand-embroidery of a golden hair maiden (a bride?) holding a bouquet of pink flowers, framed within a lacy tree arbor and standing atop a blanket of daisies. Lovely pastel colors in soft shades of pink, green, blue and yellow make this piece feminine and serene. Unusual handmade frame with glass, front and back cut in a stylized V shape. The back of this piece continues the scrolly tree branch, centered with a pastel blue butterfly. Embroidery in excellent condition. Frame might need touching up. This piece has a Folk Art feel. Measures 10.5" wide x 14" high. Beautiful workmanship and design. | ||||||||
