|A spectacular estate piece, this is an American gold coin bracelet featuring an impressive collection of historical American gold coins attached with 14 karat yellow gold spacers, Circa 1880. The currency consists of an 1878 Coronet Type Liberty Head U.S. Quarter Eagle $2.50 gold piece; four 1858 Indian Head U.S. Gold Dollars; and four 1869 Indian Head Three Dollar U.S. Gold Coins. From the George Estate, the back of each coin has been defaced and engraved in Victorian script with names or initials of family members: Emma, ELH, AFJ, Mother, Grace Ruby Lyman, Father, CAL, HGN, Arthur, clasp CMG. A note written in an elderly hand reads "Auntie's bracelet. Each coin has the initials of a member of the family. Cannot be worn because of engraving our U.S. coins." is included. Measurements: 6 5/8 inches long. Very good condition. Total weight: 17.7 grams.|
