This is a decorative 19th century French Haviland Limoges rectangular shaped open vegetable dish in the Old Blackberry pattern, ca. 1879-1889, having sprays of flowers and vines in shades of brown, soft blue and greens, with angled corners and attached scallop-shell shaped handles above a lacy gold leaf design, marked on underside with green H&C Co, L, Haviland Limoges in double circle and number 5711, lid missing; Measurements- 2 5/8 in high, 6 1/4 in. wide (excluding 1 1/4 in. handles) x 9 in. long; no chips, cracks or flakes, no lid.
