It is in excellent condition; no flaws at all found. Priced under book value. D & M made items with this etch in the late 1930s and into the 1940s.

Elegant Glass Cobalt and Crystal 7 1/2" Handled Basket Glassware: Depression: Companies: Duncan and Miller: Pre 1940   item # 878925 (stock# FOB131)  click for details Glass From The Past 860-526-3413 $35  I don't know who made this elegant crystal basket (Duncan and Miller perhaps, based on color and style); it has a cobalt bowl with a clear twisted, hand-applied handle. The basket measures 6 1/2" high, 4" wide, and 7 1/2" long and is in excellent condition. The only issue I see was made in manufacturing, when the handles were applied, there is some roughness at the attached area where the maker pressed the handle in with the tongs to attach it. The glass is bright and clear, not cloudy, as might appear in Picture 1 (that's just the reflection). D & M made items with this etch in the late 1930s and into the 1940s.
