After my husband retired with an MSW in Family Therapy
and I retired with a MEd in Education we began making
and selling crafts for our enjoyment. One day we did a
combination antique and craft show and as I walked
around seeing all the beautiful glass I remembered the
first present my husband gave me was a three part cut
crystal relish dish.We joined a Depression Glass Club
in Central Florida and started collecting old glass.
After buying a few glass books, we now have 175,we were
in business doing shows and on-line since 1994. We now
belong to glass clubs in South Florida and have given
lectures at various meetings. We have cut our shows
schedule down to three a year-all in Florida- but are
still kept very busy. The history of glass in America
is fascinating and each unusual piece we find is a new
adventure into its background. We found a new love!
