In fantastic condition, this glamorous antique evening bag from England is a soft shell shape encrusted with gold sequins and gold and pearl beads. Its back is fully sequinned, including a tiny handle you can slide two fingers through (or fasten to a belt). Interior is ivory satin with a label that reads "Hand Made Foreign" and what appears to be original tissue (which has discolored the fabric very slightly, where it touches). The only other flaw I notice is that just a couple -- from thousands of beads -- are coming loose and can be easily secured. Size is about 6" x 6 1/2" and probable dating would be 1920s.
