Reduced now from $75 ... This exquisite long-sleeved blouse from Cambridgeshire in England wouldn't look out of place on a Renaissance princess. It can be worn off the shoulders or not and would pair beautifully with anything from a formal skirt to jeans. The bodice is overlaid in front with gorgeously decorated panels of embroidered white eyelet and beading mesh. A flattering fit is assured by the panel of elastic smocking at the back. Sleeves are of a lighter fabric, almost gossamer, with pearl-buttoned cuffs. Six more pearl buttons secure the bodice and have so seldom passed through the buttonholes that it's still hard to do. Accordingly, overall condition of this blouse is fabulous. A few beads could stand tightening, but that's all I see. Size is small - just right for you if you wear between a size 1 and size 5. Probable dating would be late 1960s, when such romantic styles were worn by the most privileged Flower Children. Please e-mail to confirm availability, order or request more photos.
