This adorable vintage handbag can go anywhere, day or night. For evening dazzle, just pin on a sparkling brooch or two. In perfect condition, the purse opens and shuts like a clam shell (very tightly, too) and has a charming scalloped shape with soft folds rising to pleats from its crescent-shaped base. Both top and base are stiffened internally to hold their shape. A coin purse is even included, attached to the satin-lined interior by an elastic cord. Large enough to be really functional, about 9" wide at base and 7" tall, this bag has twin fabric-covered handles and honestly looks like it's never been used, though it certainly dates from the 1920s or 1930s.
