Five small dishes from Hamelner Töpferei, Germany, c 1920. The colourful Art Déco design of stylized flowers is likely by Gertrud Kraut who worked for this Werkbund-related Töpferei (pottery / kiln). Hameln was the scene of the classic fairy tale of the Pied Piper or Rattenfänger and so the products of the pottery are signed with HT and a small rat. Diameter "3/ 7,5 cm and height "¾/ 2 cm. Condition: two dishes with a minimal knick to the underside of the rim

A decorative 1960’s tile or wall plaque of long-necked giraffes, by Helmut Schäffenacker, Germany (1921-2010), internationally known for his works in various artistic techniques. Signed with model number 476 and Schäffenacker, Ulm/Do(nau), Made in Germany and Handgeformt (hand made). Original sticker. Height "14½/ 36 cm, width "4¾/ 12 cm. Condition: fine.

Basket weave rectangular cache-pot/flower pot and interior liner by Waechtersbach. Decoration of green dots and a printed flower border in late Art Nouveau or Jugendstil style, also running over the handles of the pot. The liner left undecorated. Impressed shield mark and printed blue mark "Wächtersbach" and a black printed mark, possibly a year mark for 1923, December. Width including handles "7¼/ 18,5 cm, height "2¼/ 5,5 cm. Condition: a hairline visible from the inside of one handle.

Impressed factory mark for Waechtersbach: shield mark to one plate, triangular stamped mark to both, Dec. 1619 (pattern number) and 39. Diameter "7/ 18 cm. Two interesting German Art Déco pieces from Carstens Uffrecht: interwar period design from around 1930, a small dish/ ashtray and a larger dish. Orange and blue geometric decoration against a mottled white ground, both on supports of distinct, sculptural shape. Raised factory mark and painter's signature. Diameter "8/ 20 cm, width of smaller dish "6/ 15 cm. Condition: restored chip to rim on the larger dish at 10 o’clock.
