A Danish stoneware jar by Per Linneman Schmidt for Palshus, 1960's. Cylindrical, the interior glazed in a speckled grey and brown, the exterior with a dark brown glaze, leaving some stripes and the horizontal border unglazed. Diameter "5¾/ 14,5 cm, height "3¼/ 8 cm. Incised marks Palshus, Denmark, PLS, 403 and painted D. Condition: fine.

A hanging basket for flowers, by Kähler, Denmark, c 1920-1930. Slip glaze decoration typical of Kähler, with swirls in black, blue and brown over white, the glaze of a glossy, "watery" look. Three glazed holes for chains. Unmarked. Diameter "6½/ 16,5 cm, height "4/ 10,5 cm. Condition: chip and glaze wear to rim, some wear also to the green-glazed interior.

Salad-size stoneware bowl from the Danish Hjorth factory, c 1920 to 30. Light grey glaze and Art Deco stylized floral decoration in blue to the exterior, the interior with a central ornament in blue, yellow and brown. Height "4½/ 11 cm, diameter "7½/ 19,5 cm. Impressed marks: L.Hjorth, deer mark, Denmark and Z 50 (model number?). Condition: wear to rim and some glaze blisters.

A small beaker vase by Danish designer Just Andersen (1884-1943). Of flaring form, the simplicity of the shape accentuated by stripes near mouth and foot-rim. Marks: Just, GAB (a Swedish company for which Just Andersen worked from c 1930), model number 1162 and 1931 for the year. Height "2/ 5 cm. Condition: fine.

Patinated bronze vase by Danish designer Just Andersen (1884-1943). Simple and beautiful Déco design, the shape reminding of the petals of an opening flower. Small engraving to one side of the foot-rim. Marks: GAB (a Swedish company for which Just Andersen worked from c 1930), "brons" and model number 212. Height "5½/ 14 cm. Condition: some wear (scratch marks) as seen on pictures.

Studio vase by Mobach in Utrecht, 1950's or 60's. Of sturdy shape, the mouth-rim elegantly thin, the thick and irregularly running glaze in subtle shades of grey, pink and beige. Impressed mark "Mobach, Utrecht". Height "4½/ 11,5 cm. Condition: fine.

A pewter pipe rest, the unusual design reminding of a high-heeled ladies shoe. Denmark or Sweden, unmarked, 1930's. Width "4½/ 11,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Sterling silver jelly spoon by David Andersen, Norway, with additional import stamp to Sweden (three crowns and S), c 1960-70. Silver gilt, with enamel decoration in blue and black. Marked Sterling, weight 23 grams. Length "5¼/ 13 cm. Condition: minuscule nicks to the handle, as seen in photos.

A German majolica lidded pot or box by the Staatliche Majolika-Manufaktur in Karlsruhe, c 1930's. Of cylindrical shape, the glaze light green, the lid with a crackled finish, and decoration of a rearing horse. Relief moulded mark and model number 4083. Diameter of lid "4/ 10 cm, height including lid "2 1/4/ 5,5 cm. Condition: small glaze flake to inner rim of lid.

Basket weave rectangular cache-pot/flower pot and interior liner by Waechtersbach. Decoration of green dots and a printed flower border in late Art Nouveau or Jugendstil style, also running over the handles of the pot. The liner left undecorated. Impressed shield mark and printed blue mark "Wächtersbach" and a black printed mark, possibly a year mark for 1923, December. Width including handles "7¼/ 18,5 cm, height "2¼/ 5,5 cm. Condition: a hairline visible from the inside of one handle.

A 1950's decorative plaque from Vallauris, France. Still life of vegetables in glossy green and red against a matted grey background. On the back an original label for Louis Giraud, renowned for his table tops and plaques. Width "9 ½ / 24 cm. Condition: fine.

A lidded box by French Longwy. Crackle glaze and enamelled relief decoration in brilliant colours, in the Oriental style typical of Longwy. Model number: 1504, pattern number 5685, c 1920-30. Printed greenrk "Longwy emaux"/enamels and signature in black: S.F. Width "5¼/ 13 cm and height "2¼/ 5,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Czech / Bohemian candle stick in orange and black, c 1930. Radical modernist design, made up of geometric shapes. Dux acorn mark for 1918-1939.Height "5½/ 14 cm. Condition: fine.

Souvenir cup and saucer made in England by Johnson Brothers, c 1960. Transfer printed in dark brown with a picture of Manhattan and Empire State Building, highlighted with blue skies. Diameter of saucer "4½/ 11,5 cm, height of cup "2¼/ 5,5 cm. Condition: fine.

An Austrian bronze bottle stopper by Walter Bosse and Herta Baller, Vienna, c 1950. Modeled as a happy and sleepy drunkard, bottle in hand, leaning onto a sagging lamp post. Cork stopper still in place, stamped inscription: Henkes Delfshaven Holland. Henkes was a Dutch gin/genever producer. Height including cork "3¾/ 9,5 cm. Condition: fine.

A black and silver metal mesh evening bag from the 1930's, Zig-Zag pattern, probably French. It locks with a chain and a transparent glass bead. Ring-shaped plastic handle. Length "8¾/ 22 cm. Condition: fine.

A bronze ashtray with pestle, by Baller, Austria, 1950's. The ashtray boat shaped, the pestle irregularly four-sided and curved. Impressed mark Baller Austria. Width "3½/ 9 cm. Condition: fine.

An Italian 1950's whimsical bottle-shaped vase, Fantoni style. Covered with dark green leather leaving two reserves with enameled still life decoration of, to one side, fruit and to the other a group of vessels in modernist style, the interior blue-glazed. Unmarked. Height "9½/ 24 cm. Condition: fine.
