A purple blue and iridescent bowl, of triangular and scalloped shape. Murano, 1950’s, by Barovier & Toso? Fragmentary silver coloured label. Width "5½/ 14 cm. Condition: fine.

Generous redware teapot by Dybdahl, Denmark, 1960’s. The inside, the spout and handle, rim and lid with a smooth transparent glaze, the rest unglazed. Impressed, stamped decoration of little masks or stylized sun faces. In the studio of Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl Margrethe did the wheel throwing and the decorations and Palle the glazes. The teapot takes 1.2 litres and pours well. Width spout to handle "10 / 26 cm. Condition: some roughness around the spout.

Pair of gilt brass and rhinestone shoe buckles or clasps with cut and engraved leaves motif. Unmarked, probably French, c. 1900. Width "2/ 5 cm. Condition: some stains to the gilt surface as seen on photo.

Pearlware dinner plate in the Curbing palms pattern, by Job Ridgway, transfer printed in blue, unmarked. Job Ridgway’s manufacture worked for only a short period, 1802 – 1813. A variation of the Willow border and an additional Nankin border surround an Oriental landscape with curbing palm trees and exotic pagodas. Diameter "9 ¾ / 24.7 cm. Condition: fine.

Drop earrings made of emerald-green and white enamel on copper, fixed onto brass. The old technique of cloisonné has been used for the little stars of which one is seen falling, one rising. Length "1 ¾ / 4.7 cm. Condition: rim frits to one earring (cf. pics).

Primitivist sculptural mask ceramic pendant, greyish-blue and brown glazed. Impressed mark Vieux Moulin, Vallauris, from 1954 the studio of ceramist Robert Perot. Height "1 ¾ / 4.7 cm. Condition: fine. Price:

A sterling silver and parcel-gilt teaspoon in the Irving pattern, patented by the firm of Robert Wallace in 1899. The pattern was reissued in 1975 under a different name, but this is the original from around 1900. The spoon blade engraved “St. James”. Marks: Pat. 1899 RW (deer head) & S Sterling. Length "5 1/3 / 13.7 cm. Condition: fine.

Oval, gilt pin with relief decoration in blue and white of a lady dressed in a Rococo robe, a fan in her hand. Probably Dutch, impressed mark: Frode. Height: "1 ¾ / 3.7 cm. Condition: fine. The lack of gilt in the edges is intentional

A Rose mandarin /Canton Famille rose ecuelle, soup bowl and cover, with double strapped handles and gilt finial, c 1820-40. Height: 4" / 10 cm, diam. of cover: 6 1/4" / 16 cm. Condition: a restoration above each handle, hairlines, some rubbing to the gilding and rim frits to the lid (cf pics).

Pretty porcelain button from Royal Copenhagen, hand painted with a rose flower and bud, the back with the factory’s under-glaze blue mark from 1870 – 1890 and 10, probably for the design / pattern. Diameter "1 ½ / 1.7 cm. Condition: fine

A pretty leaf shaped serving dish by Royal Copenhagen. Panted decoration of flowers, the twig handle with a rose and a forget-me-not flower in relief – the same as the handles used in the famous Flora Danica service. Impressed mark 2 and S, and the three waves of the manufacture in the version used around 1890. Length "7 1/5 / 18.5 cm. Condition: damage to the petals of the little forget-me-not flower.

Demitasse coffee can and saucer, Royal Crown Derby Imari. Red stamped mark and year code mark for 1923, the saucer with impressed mark Derby 1923. Height of can "2 / 5 cm, diameter of saucer "4/ 10.6 cm. Condition: fine.

A Royal Doulton Chiné stoneware jug or pitcher with pewter lid, c 1890, partly gilt and enamelled in turquoise, blue and white. The Chiné pattern, where a textile – lace - was pressed into the clay to create the desired effect, was invented by Slater, director of Doulton from 1887 to 1936. Marks: Royal Doulton, Slater’s Patent and RH for designer Rosina Harris. Height 8"/20 cm. Condition: restoration to tip of spout.

Czech / Bohemian candle stick in orange and black, c 1930. Radical modernist design, made up of geometric shapes. Dux acorn mark for 1918-1939.Height "5½/ 14 cm. Condition: fine.

A two-handled solid silver bowl made around 1890. Unmarked, but its shape and the pierced pattern with crescents and six-pointed stars indicates a Russian and Jewish origin. Tested for a silver content of 800 / 1000 (minimum). Weight 157 grams, width "4 ½ / 11 cm and height "2 ½ / 6 ½ cm. Condition: fine.

A silver spoon, the shape of traditional Russian type with a long handle and egg-shaped gilt bowl, the modernist pattern pointing towards the 1960’s. Russian (Soviet era) hallmark 875 with star and Cyrillic B plus another mark with the letters B and Yu. Weight 38 grams, length "6½/ 16,5 cm. Condition: a few scratch marks to the bowl.

Russian wooden egg, lacquered in black and painted. One side with an orthodox cross and the other probably depicting St Basil’s cathedral in the Kremlin in the late 19th century. It might also show the then newly erected cathedral of the Assumption in Omsk. Height "4 / 10.5 cm. Condition: the painted decoration is flaking, as is the black lacquer (cf. pics).

A pair of sake cups / bowls, thinly potted Japanese porcelain in white and gold with decoration of Ho-o birds and chrysanthemum, both of which symbolize happiness and prosperity. Unsigned, Meiji. An identical pair was in the collection of businessman Gustaf Wallenberg who also served as Sweden’s envoyé /ambassador to Tokyo and Beijing in 1907 - 1918.These sake bowls seem to have been gifts from the Japanese emperor to foreign dignitaries.
