Asiatic Pheasants platter, transfer printed in a pale blue tone (same as 367408), made 1851-55 by Beech, Hancock & Co, one of the earliest producers of this classical pattern. Width: 12 1/4" / 31 cm. Condition: fine.

Black basalt milk jug, engine turned with a basketwork pattern. Wedgwood style, c 1800. Height: 4" / 10 cm, width: 5 3/4" / 14,5 cm. Condition: chip to foot rim.

Black basalt sugar bowl and cover, engine turned with a basketwork pattern and rams’ heads on either side. Wedgwood style, c 1800. Height: 6 1/4" /16 cm. Condition: finial is lacking and just above the base of the bowl there is a small (1 mm) drilled hole.

Black basalt teapot with fluted relief moulding and sybil or widow finial, Wedgwood style, c 1800. Unmarked silver lining to spout (the electroplated strainer visible on one of the photos will be the buyer’s bonus). Height: 5 1/4" / 13 cm, length: 8" / 20 cm. Condition: refilled holes from staples on the spout which has been restuck. Two rim chips to lid.

Blue and white tea bowl, transfer printed, c 1800. Interior decoration of a cottage and a flower border, the exterior with a cottage and a landscape. Under-glaze blue mark "4" to the back. Height: 2" / 5,5 cm. Condition: minimal chip to rim and a few chips to inner side of foot rim.

Brown and white platter by Carr & Sons in the Gem model. The Carr & Sons mark was used after 1861. Width: 14 1/4" / 36 cm. Condition: fine.

Castleford teapot, biscuitlike ware with transparent glaze, blue outlines and relief moulded mourning figures in classical style on both sides, c 1770 – 1800. Height: 5 3/4" / 14,5 cm length: 9 3/4" / 24,5 cm. Condition: finial restuck, unprofessional restorations to spout and rim.

Chamberlains Worcester plate, decorated with the Japan pattern, transfer printed, enamelled and gilt. Impressed marks, c 1840. Diam: 10 1/2" / 27 cm. Condition: rubbing to the gilt decoration, chip to rim and to foot rim.

Copper lustre and blue saucer, marked M, 19th c. Diam: 5 1/4" / 13 cm. Condition: small glaze bubble at five o'clock.

Minton Indian Tree platter, transfer printed in a sparkling famille rose palette, year mark for 1843, pattern number 1482. This classical pattern was first introduced by Minton’s, around 1840. Width: 14 1/4" / 36,5 cm. Condition: hairline cracks to one side and some wear to the decorated surface.
