A circular lidded box by French Longwy. Relief decoration of flowers in brilliant colours, in the Oriental style typical of Longwy, the inside turquoise glazed. Model number 3, pattern number 5767, c 1920-30. Printed green mark with the Lorraine / Lothringen cross and “Emaux de Longwy". Diam: "3 ½ / 9 cm, height: "1 ¾ / 4,5 cm. Condition: the lid, restored, has been in two parts (cf picture).

Nice mosaic pottery tazza by Gerbino, France. The handling of clays in various colours necessary for the creation of this kind of art objects was a complicated procedure, mastered only by Jean Gerbino and his family in Vallauris, the French centre of artistic pottery. In this tazza the green clay, introduced by Yvan Koenig in 1975, has been used. Impressed marks Gerbino and Vallauris. Height: " 3 ½ / 9 cm, diam: "6/ 15 cm.
