Small bowl by KPM/Königliche Porzellanmanufaktur. The exterior striped orange, the interior with decoration of a single, superbly painted butterfly (or a nun moth?) and an acorn cap. S-mark for 1949, one of the post-war years when the Berlin production had been moved to Selb, in Bavaria. Diam: "5 ¾ / 14,5 cm, height: "1 ½/ 4,5 cm. Condition: wear and a scratch mark to the exterior.

Two interesting German Art Déco pieces from Carstens Uffrecht, c 1930, a small dish/ ashtray and a larger dish. Orange and blue geometric decoration against a mottled white ground, both on stands of distinct, sculptural shape. Diam: 8"/ 20 cm and width of smaller dish: 6”/15 cm.
