A French Vallauris dish by Cérenne, with black and "silky" glaze and painted decoration of a gardener with his tools and flower pots. Part Wedgwood black basalt coffee service. Coffee pot, twelve small coffee cans and eleven saucers. The widow knob and shape of the pot copies a late 18th century design, just like the handles and the cylindrical shape of the cans. All pieces are marked "Wedgwood" and "Made in England" (= after 1910). Height of coffee pot: "6 ½ /17 cm, of cans: "2 ¼ /5,5 cm. Condition: the coffee pot with a few scratch marks as seen on photos, otherwise fine.
