Round bowl of flattened shape and with a rounded lid. Shiny glaze over flower fantasy motif in typical Gouda Art Noveau style, c 1920's. Diam: 6 ¾"/17 cm, height:3 ½"/9 cm. Painted marks 741 and Gouda, gate-mark, Holland and painter's mark "P", the figures also incised. Condition: chip to rim of lid as shown on photo, otherwise fine.

Early Gouda vase in the "Fredy" pattern, of Ming-like shape and with oriental-type leaves around the bottom. Above that a chrysanthemum pattern in a Japanese or rather geometrical manner, all in reddish-brown and dark blue, with little luminous blue dots. Height: "7 ½ /19 cm. Simple fork mark for 1918 and painter's mark for Adriana Margaretha Lugthart. Condition: crack to body and chip to foot rim as shown on photos.
