Small and lovely figurine of Guanyin, the Buddhist goddess of Mercy, 18th to 19th c. Creamy white glaze over finely modelled details. The goddess is seen seated with a joss stick bowl to her left. Incised Chinese signature to the inside. Height: "6 ¾ /17,5 cm. Condition: the left hand should be holding a sceptre, now missing, plus small damage to fingers of right hand.
