Mark on cup and saucer of crossed under-glaze blue Ls and a star. The Limbach porcelain manufacture in Thuringia, c 1772 1787 chose this mark as a competitive marketing tool, resembling the crossed swords of Meissen. Diameter of saucer: "4 / 12,2 cm, height of cup "1 / 4,5 cm. The handle has been re-glued (cf. photo) and there are a few matted stains to the surface of the saucer.
