| Six English silver plated spoons, the shafts with little coffee beans made of dark brown wood. The “bean end” design appeared already in the late 1800’s, in the Arts and Crafts period. There are coffee pots and other coffee utensils related to Christopher Dresser with coffee beans on, but it has not yet been proved that he was behind the idea of using the coffee bean as a design motif. These spoons are probably from the 1920’s. Four of them are stamped Mills. Length "3 ¾ -4/ 9-10 cm. One spoon needs to have its bean put in place again | ||
