An Italian faience jar made in Deruta by Alfredo Santarelli (1874-1957). Of cylindrical shape and decorated with Renaissance style scroll-work in light blue, the background lustre or gold brown. Blue signature with AS and the rising sun, from the artist's later period, possibly 1930's. Height including lid: "4/ 10 cm. Condition: fine.
