| Early Paleo-Indian Point from the famous Nuckolls site, located along the Cumberland River, in Western Tennessee. Purchased from the family farm by Joe Wright, and then acquired by Gary Noel, member of the Archaeological Society of Ohio. Excellent condition. The needle like tip is completely undamged. Three inches in length. The Outre-passe (overshot) flaking technique is clearly evident. These early paleo points are sometimes referred to as Simpson points. Basal Grinding for the first inch of the piece. Excellent patina. Museum quality. | ||||||
