A perfect image of a "Westie", bright eyed and impish. The white terrier with perky ears, has a look as if he were saying "what did I do now?" The ring, an Essex Crystal or Reverse Crystal Intaglio was carved in reverse on the back of the crystal and done with excellent skill. Notice the tufts of the dog's hair and its endearing features. The art of reverse crystal carving into the depth of the stone creates a three dimensional image. See image 4 and 5. Color and detail were painted after the crystal was engraved. Around this dog is the prize he deserves, a ring of small diamonds. Set in 18kt gold, this ring is as winsome and the pet it portrays. This ring can be sized. Condition is Fine

If diamonds are a girl's' best friend, getting flowers is somewhere high on her list. Voila, this bracelet, elegant and wearable, fills both pleasures, along with receiving a piece of jewelry just right for her taste. Four 18kt gold strands are made of small links for flexibility. The links are abutting each other so closely they seem to be textured with brush lines rather than separate links. On the hand the strands separate gracefully. A three layered flower forms the clasp, topped with the glitter of transitional diamonds. The bracelet is in excellent condition. It is exactly 7 1/2 inches long fitting a medium wrist with fluidity and drape.

Beaming sunlike through wisps of gold filigree is a flame of citrine. Like points in an orbit, pearls surround the stone on all sides. This is a lacy pendant, too sizable to be termed delicate. Edwardian jewels were designed concurrently with the Art Nouveau movement and share some of its qualities. The designs scrolled, curved and curled have a naturalistic quality in which there is a sense of the jewelers' hand.
A delicate gold necklace of beads encrusted with golden strands that interweave and completely cover each bead. Without the help of a loup, the beads appear granulated as were their c.1870 etruscan revival cousins. The necklace, strung on strong gold chain, is a glow of warm gold color and texture. We have seen necklaces such as this one in paintings from the early 1800's from New England. It is just a touch of a jeweled decoration to dress up or down and always right. American. c. 1900. Each golden orb measures 5.9mm. The strand is 14 3/4 in long. Condition is pristine
This four stone diamond ring, both pretty and delicate, makes a beautiful statement for a petite woman who wants something different and not over powering. The ring is Edwardian and dates to c. 1900. The diamonds, well faceted, are sparkling old mine diamonds. Two stones are approximately a half carat each. The smaller stones are approximately .25 each. As the diamonds are deeply set and have not been removed from their prong settings, we may be underestimating their carat weight by .25 ct. One side of the 15k gold band curves up to a smaller diamond while the other side curves down to its diagonal opposite. The stones have no outstanding imperfections with the naked eye or loup. I estimate the color to be H/I. Currently size 7 1/2 and can easily be size
