| The magnificent satin surface of this bracelet is striking and beautiful. It is Victorian Etruscan Revival and in pristine condition. The gold has been bloomed lending a matt finish to the warm tone of the precious metal. At front, the surface is raised by eight lines of beaded and coiled rope, separated by a contrasting half inch of flat gold satin at the center. Two bands of engraved fleur d'lis or gothic design create a delicate and light hearted garden gate detail. The clasp is broad and sure. It makes a resounding click when snapped closed. The hinge is perfect. An inner line of engraving tells that during the 131 years of its history, this bracelet was once gifted to L. M. by W. A. The cuff measures a dramatic 1 1/2 inches high. It fits a medium wrist that measures 6 inches around with 3/4 of an inch to spare. Closed inner dimension is 2 1/8 in. The bracelet opens widely. Condition is immaculate | ||||||||||
