| Natural oval turquoise stones are warmly nestled amongst the brilliant white shine of small diamonds giving the sense of fire and ice. The diamonds are rose cuts that emit so much light, they seem to be brilliant cut stones. The backs of all stone settings are open. Metal does not show between stones as the diamonds are closely set. The ring band is a sleek, knife edged sweep of gold with just enough pink in it to keep the feeling warm. This ring dates to c.1880-1890. It was made in England. The style is transitional, not typical victorian nor typical edwardian. It is a style that predicts future change. The condition is perfect. At present it is size 7. It can be sized to fit a smaller finger. | |||||||
