This is a beautiful rare and rather large Meiji Era piece of Japanese Cloisonne. The raised relief fish and water plants are beautifully done with wonderful detailing. It is signed on the underside but the symbols are very hard to read. Either way we think it was made by Kumeno. The original lid is missing but it has been replaced a more attractive bronze piece with water plants. The Piece measures 7 inches wide and is about 6 3/4 inches tall...

This is a rather rare old Japanese cloisonne dish. Not only is was done in the Ginbari style, it has a fish, plants and no damage. It shows better in person because the plants are more green in color. The dish measures almost 5 inches across.

This is a fine Japanese satsuma cabinet vase signed by Yabu Meizan. The vase stands 4 3/4 inches tall and is 3 inches wide. The vase is in outstanding condition except for the gold mark underneath. Some of it was pulled off by tape. The missing gold from the signature can be see on a piece of tape left inside the vase.

This is a fine and rare Japanese cloisonne enamel bowl done in the style of Namikawa Sosuke. One must to look close at the delicate shading and enamel tones to appreciate this fine piece. The bowl is 5 inches wide and stands 3 1/2 inches tall. It also was made with bronze rims. The work appears to be by Gonda and may have been done when he worked for Ando. The stands come with the piece and thecondition is excellent.

This is a very fine cloisonne vase with very fine work. It stands only 3 3/4 inches tall but it is loaded with fine details, enameling and sculpted wire work. The vase does have a very slight bend on the bottom rim and there is a small amount of enamel damage that is hard to notice.

This in a very nice Japanese cloisonne wisteria vase. It has a soft yellowish/green ground color which is fairly uncommon.The vase is in outstanding condition having just a few factory pits. From the looks of the enamel and workmanship, this vase appears to have been made by Ota. The vase stands 9 1/2 inches tall and it is a heavy piece.

This is a very fine Meiji era cloisonne piece from Japan. The vase is quite unusual and the workmanship superb. The artist is no known but it appears to be a Honda or Ota piece. The vase stands 9 3/4 inches tall. Condition is great except for a very hard to see spot on lower foot area. It is shown in the last image.

This is a beautiful Japanese Cloisonne Enamel tray from Namikawa Sosuke. The tray looks perfect but it has does have a very difficult to see professional restoration to the face. This would be a great addition for a Museum or fine collection because it displays so well. This is a top flight piece for less than a third normal price. The tray measures 11 3/4 inches across and it is heavy.

This is a very cute antique cloisonne jar from Japan. The piece is not signed but appears to be the work of Kumeno or Ota. The Jar stands 5 inches tall. Although the piece displays wonderfully, upon close inspection some hard to see crazing can be found in the darker gray enamel at the foot and there are a couple of tiny glaze pops that have been filled.

This is a beautiful old Japanese Cloisonne vase from the Goldenage of Meiji Antiques. It is fairly large and quite stoutly made. We believe it was created by Honda. The rims are bronze and the enamels have a beautiful glossy sheen to them. Condition is excellent. The vase stands 9/3/4 inches tall and is 6 inches across at the corners.

This is a very fine Japanese cloisonne vase from the 1890's. The work is good enough to be Hayashi. The vase is rather large at 9 1/2 inches and loaded with fine detailing. It is not perfect and the price reflects this. At one time it was a lamp. The drill hole was nicely filled but there are several craze lines around the base. The rims appear to be silver or nickle. This is a beautiful rare piece of cloisonne.

This is an attractive small cloisonne vase with a deep glossy translucent enamel. In person it is a little richer and deeper colored than the images show. This unique little vase is stoutly built and appears to be an early Namikawa Yasuyuki from the 1880's. It stands 4 3/4 inches tall and is in excellent condition. This is a consignment item and the estate wants this piece sold. The price was lowered by 20 percent on 5/11/13.
