This is an amazing pair of very large Japanese Cloisonne vases. They are 18 inches tall by 10 inches wide and are in excellent condition. This is extraordinary because most large vases have some sort of damage. The intense bamboo, flowers and bluebird work is done in the Hayashi style. The birds have gold wires but the remainder of the work is done in several sizes of silver wires. The rims are silver. Due to the large size these vases were very difficult to photograph...

This vase has three large exotic goldfish. The fish appear to have been created with gold wires as well as silver wires. The vase displays perfectly but there are several minor lines and a shallow flake under the rim. There are also some partially showing silver wire mixed in and around the upper rim. The vase was made this way...

This is a very fine Japanese Moriage style Cloisonne vase. The vase is not signed. To us it looks most like the work of Hattori, but it could have also been made by Gonda, Kumeno or even Ando. The rims are bronze. Condition is excellent but not perfect. There is a tiny bubble in the center of one of the flower petals. It stands 9 3/4 inches tall.
