This is a great little Japanese satsuma vase. It is highly detailed and the 40 or so children are all very expressive. Amazingly the vase stands only 3 inches tall. It is partially signed on the bottom and minutely signed in a banner held by one of the children. This signature appears to say Yabu Meizan. Some of the gilt designs are also the same as some of the early Yabu pieces.

This is a very fine Japanese Satsuma shallow footed bowl. As can be seen in the images the workmanship is top level. It is 4 5/8 inches across and 1 1/2 inches tall. The piece is in excellent condition.

This is a finely done Meiji era Japanese cloisonne vase. While not a prolifically decorated as some pieces from the Meiji era it is still a very good piece. The vase is in excellent condition with a few pits and minor surface scratches. It is not signed.

This is an extremely rare Japanese cloisonne enamel. It appear to be an early Ando piece. I say this because of the form used and the enamel technique used on this vase. The enameling has characteristics similar to some of the unique signed Kawade pieces with their mottled flowing enamels done in various colors. The enamels also vary from translucent to opaque. This is a beautiful Japanese Satsuma cabinet vase from Ito Tozan. The bamboo design is done in layers of gold detailing, black, and green enamels. The green enamels are the thickest. The vase is fairly stout and measures 4 3/4 inches by 5 3/8 inches. There is also a second impressed signature on the bottom. Condition is outstanding.

This is a very fine and large Japanese cloisonne vase from the Golden Age. The enamel work is rich and of very high quality. This vase appears to be an early Sosuke piece. The vase stands 12 1/2 inches high and is 6 1/2 inches wide. The vase has a perfectly restored drill hole, otherwise the condition is excellent.

A beautiful Japanese cloisonne enamel tray by Namikawa Sosuke. The scene is a bird perched on a flowering branch. The grayish background changes in tone from the top to bottom. This is a very nice Japanese Cloisonne vase with huddling egrets. The vase has 9 wire and wireless cloisonne egrets that surround the vase. The bluish grey background color also lightens as it moves up the vase. It stands 3 3/4 inches tall. The rims appear to be worn silver over bronze. There is an impact mark and a very faint line but it is still a very fine display piece. It is signed on the bottom by but artist Gonda.

This is a very fine and very attractive Mt Fuji wireless cloisonne box. It actually looks very similar to a Mt Fuji Sosuke tray we once had. It is not signed butthe artist is most likely Ando or Gonda. The Box measures 5 1/4 by 4 inches and s 2 3/8 inches tall. The box is beautiful and perfect except for some odd tool marks on the inner rim of the lid.

This is a fine Chinese export silver box done with three well executed repousse dragons. It is signed. The box is stoutly made and weighs 10 ounces or 285 grams. The inside still retains the original liner made with a thin light weight wood similar to balsa. It measures 4 3/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches and is 1 3/4 inches tall. The condition is excellent.

This is a very fine quality Japanese Cloisonne vase. It features a pair of Mandarin ducks. The enameling is beautiful. The vase is not signed but it reminds us of several Hayashi Tanigoro pieces we have had. The vase is stout and quite heavy.It measures 9 1/2 inches tall. This is a beautiful and unique Japanese Cloisonne box.The artist could have be one of at several but it looks like a piece from Inaba,Honda or Shibata. The box is about 50% larger than most boxes and has the same form as a Hayashi box I once had. The silk lining with the mums is exquisite. The box measures 6 inches by 4 1/4 inches and is 2 5/8 tall.
