This is a very fine Japanese cloisonne vase.The wisteria design is superbly executed. The colors and richness to the enamels are wonderful. The counter enamel is very similar in color to signed Hayashi pieces we have seen. It is not signed and the rims appear to be bronze. The vase stands 12 inches and there are no condition issues.

A beautiful Japanese cloisonne enamel tray by Namikawa Sosuke. The scene is a bird perched on a flowering branch. The grayish background changes in tone from the top to bottom. The back is decorated with gilt wire stylized designs. The oval tray measures 11 5/8 inches by 9 1/4 inches. Signed on the front Seitei - Watanabe Shotei. Condition is excellent. In the last image on the back a 1/2 inch slightly darker area can be seen...

This is an attractive miniature Satsuma teapot with some fine workmanship. It measures just 2 5/8 inches across. The handle is bronze. There are no condition issues and the piece is in excellent condition. We believe the gold signature is Kozan.

This is a very nice Japanese Cloisonne vase with huddling egrets. The vase has 9 wire and wireless cloisonne egrets that surround the vase. The bluish grey background color also lightens as it moves up the vase. It stands 3 3/4 inches tall. The rims appear to be worn silver over bronze. There is an impact mark and a very faint line but it is still a very fine display piece. It is signed on the bottom by but artist Gonda.

This is a very fine and very attractive Mt Fuji wireless cloisonne box. It actually looks very similar to a Mt Fuji Sosuke tray we once had. It is not signed butthe artist is most likely Ando or Gonda. The Box measures 5 1/4 by 4 inches and s 2 3/8 inches tall. The box is beautiful and perfect except for some odd tool marks on the inner rim of the lid.

This is a fine Chinese export silver box done with three well executed repousse dragons. It is signed. The box is stoutly made and weighs 10 ounces or 285 grams. The inside still retains the original liner made with a thin light weight wood similar to balsa. It measures 4 3/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches and is 1 3/4 inches tall. The condition is excellent.

This is a very fine quality Japanese Cloisonne vase. It features a pair of Mandarin ducks. The enameling is beautiful. The vase is not signed but it reminds us of several Hayashi Tanigoro pieces we have had. The vase is stout and quite heavy.It measures 9 1/2 inches tall. The vase looks perfect but has several short lines at the top shoulder that are barely visible. See last image.

This is a beautiful and unique Japanese Cloisonne box.The artist could have be one of at several but it looks like a piece from Inaba,Honda or Shibata. The box is about 50% larger than most boxes and has the same form as a Hayashi box I once had. The silk lining with the mums is exquisite. The box measures 6 inches by 4 1/4 inches and is 2 5/8 tall. The condition is excellent.

This is a fine and unusual Japanese cloisonne vase. It has unique solid silver mounts and is very nicely done piece. The vase has a bit of a style like a Namikawa Sosuke piece but not being signed we believe the artist was Hattori. The vase stands 6 inches tall. Condition is very good but on one of the six sides, there are two areas of slight discoloration that could be from the making. These are pointed out in the images.

This is a very fine Japanese Cloisonne box with brilliant rich colors. It appears to be the work of Hayashi or Ando but it is not signed. The box measures 5 1/4 inches by 4 1/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches tall. The box is in excellent condition except for a surface flake on the underside corner. This can be seen in the last image.
