This is a very fine Japanese Golden age vase. There is a prolific amount of cloisonne work that is done with regular and sculpted silver wire. The piece is signed with the two flags mark. The vase stands 9 3/4 inches tall. Condition is very good but there are some slight shallow lines (last image) that can barely be seen.

This is a very fine pair of small Japanese Cloisonne Vases. There are finely detailed chickens on every side. They stand 6 inches tall so they are more detailed and impressive in hand. Usually on these finer pieces I have a pretty good idea who the artist is, but not with these vases. Hayashi, Miwa, Kinuken, Gonda,or Ota could have made these vases. Condition is outstanding, about the only thing of note is very faint line on the neck of one of the vases. It is tough to see without magnification.

This is a very attractive satsuma plate from Kinkozan. The painting, enamel, and gold work are exquisite. There is also a lot more fine gold work on the piece than what shows up in the images. The plate is in excellent condition and measures 8 inches across. It is signed on the underside with an impressed mark encased in gold trim.

This is a finely detailed old Japanese Satsuma sake pot or small teapot. There is a lot of gold work on this piece and the separate scenes are interesting. The handle appears to be bronze and is very well made. It is decent a sized piece and measures 4 1/4 inches across at the spout and is 3 3/4 tall with out the handle. We are not sure of the artist because we could not see a signature. It could be under the old sticker attached to the bottom or maybe it is written on the labels...

This is an attractive Japanese cloisonne vase from a rarely seen artist, Hayashi Chuzo. It was acquired from the now deceased great antiques dealer, Joe Belperio. The vase features a flock of 13 finely rendered rock doves or pigeons. The vase stands 7 inches tall. In the last image a sliver/chip can be seen in the blown up image. It is not easy to notice and there are also several very faint lines. Even so it is still a great display piece from a fine artist.

This is a beautifully painted Japanese Satsuma vase from Kinkozan. The gold highlights and enamel on the flowers contrast wonderfully with the matte finished look of the vase. If you look close there is a fine wash of gold beads on the upper area of the vase. It is also a rather large piece at 9 1/4 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches wide. It is signed in gold and again with an impressed mark. Overall the condition is excellent and like many works from Kinkozan, a great display piece.

This is a very fine early Japanese plique-a-jour bowl. The bowl measures 4 3/8 inches across and stands 2 1/4 inches tall. The bowl has two short lines in the yellow/red mums on the side that are hard to see. Look for them in the images. They can not be felt with a fingernail and are probably not all the way through. It is mounted with silver rims.

This is a very fine Japanese cloisonne saki pot done with the gilded wires. The condition of the gold is exceptional for this style of cloisonne. There is a very slight dent on the metal edge of the handle that can be seen best in the 5th image. The pot measures 4 inches across and has a slight bluish green counter enamel.

This is a fine turn of the century Japanese cloisonne enamel vase. The bird is very well done. I am not sure of the artist and it is not signed. The vase stands 6 inches. Condition is overall excellent but it does have what looks like a tiny hit that is barely noticeable.

This is an early Japanese Cloisonne vase done in the pigeon blood style. This vase is not only rare it has much finer work than the mass produced vintage pieces produced decades later. Look close at the wisteria decorations and the different embossed plants under the enamel, this vase is far superior to the later pieces. The vase stands 9 3/4 inches tall. The condition is excellent and it is signed by Ando.

This is a fine old Antique Chinese charger. It is done in a pattern rarely seen. Look close at the images and you will see the old orange peel surface texture. The charger has no cracks or chips. It does have a little wear to the gold but most of the enamels are fine. Overall it is in very good condition and in much better condition than most this age.. The Charger is heavily potted and weighs several lbs. Measures 13 inches across.

This is a great wood Nestuke with a pile of crawling turtles. The detail is fabulous. The black eyes are separate inlays. One of the turtles is missing the head. I know of a restorer that could create a replacement. Signed Gekko.
