This is a beautiful Japanese Cloisonne Enamel tray from Namikawa Sosuke. The tray looks perfect but it has does have a very difficult to see professional restoration to the face. This would be a great addition for a Museum or fine collection because it displays so well. This is a top flight piece for less than a third normal price. The tray measures 11 3/4 inches across and it is heavy.

This is a very attractive pair of Japanese cloisonne vases. They are done in the wireless style and were most likely produced by Kumeno. The vases stand 6 inches tall and they are both in excellent condition.

This is a very cute antique cloisonne jar from Japan. The piece is not signed but appears to be the work of Kumeno or Ota. The Jar stands 5 inches tall. Although the piece displays wonderfully, upon close inspection some hard to see crazing can be found in the darker gray enamel at the foot and there are a couple of tiny glaze pops that have been filled.

This is a beautiful old Japanese Cloisonne vase from the Goldenage of Meiji Antiques. It is fairly large and quite stoutly made. We believe it was created by Honda. The rims are bronze and the enamels have a beautiful glossy sheen to them. Condition is excellent. The vase stands 9/3/4 inches tall and is 6 inches across at the corners.

This is a rare and beautiful piece. It is attributed to the great cloisonne artist Hattori because the only artist to signed pieces we have ever seen done in this style were signed Hattori. The bowl is rather petite measuring 3 3/4 by 2 3/4 inches tall. Condition isexcellent.

This is a very fine Japanese cloisonne vase from the 1890's. The work is good enough to be Hayashi. The vase is rather large at 9 1/2 inches and loaded with fine detailing. It is not perfect and the price reflects this. At one time it was a lamp. The drill hole was nicely filled but there are several craze lines around the base. The rims appear to be silver or nickle. This is a beautiful rare piece of cloisonne.

This is an attractive small cloisonne vase with a deep glossy translucent enamel. In person it is a little richer and deeper colored than the images show. This unique little vase is stoutly built and appears to be an early Namikawa Yasuyuki from the 1880's. It stands 4 3/4 inches tall and is in excellent condition. This is a consignment item and the estate wants this piece sold. The price was lowered by 20 percent on 5/11/13.

This is a very rare and unique Japanese cloisonne box. It is not signed but it is a grade above most the works put out by Ando. The box also has a fine silver wire scroll at the rim edges and blue enamel tones used by Hayashi. The box measures 5 1/4 inches by 4 inches by 2 inches tall. Condition is good but there is a small fingernail sized flake to the enamel that has been filled on the underside and some scuffing. This is a consignment item and the estate wants this piece sold...

This is a special Japanese cloisonne vase because it was designed with detailed figures of women and children. The vase looks more like a fine satsuma piece. In general the old figure vases done in cloisonne were on the weak side due to shading and design. Not this piece. Look close at the Parasols and robes. The vase stands 10 inches tall. It is in good condition and displays very well. But not prefect as it has some minor blemishes that are not easy to spot.

This is a fine four panel vase from Ota. The vase is a wonderful example from this artist. Unfortunately it is not perfect and the price reflects this. There is a good restoration in between the panels seen in the last two images. There are also some lines. The vase stands 7 1/4 inches tall.

This is a fine large cloisonne vase signed with a rare mark. It could be Ota Kichisaburo or as I've been advised, possibly Hattori Yoshihisa. The vase stands is 12 inches tall and is quite heavy. The vase is in excellent condition.

This is a beautiful Japanese cloisonne vase. Though not signed, the workmanship and colors clearly say Hayashi Kodenji. This same opinion is held by North America's leading cloisonne collector. The vase stands 7 1/4 inches tall. It appears perfect but there is a virtually invisible repair to the midnight blue enamel edge shown in the last image.

This is a rare and attractive Japanese cloisonne bowl from the late 1800's. We have never seen another like it. The three Phoenix birds on the outside are what make it so unusual. Condition is very good on this antique. The bowl is fairly heavy measuring 7 1/4 across and 3 1/4 tall. It is not signed but we believe this bowl was made by Ota.
