Golden Age Antiques
This is an exquisite Japanese silver Dresser box. It is done in the form of a flowering mums. The box was is in outstanding condition and is lined. On the inside lid however it does have a monogram and a few slight indents. It is stamped on the underside Samuari Shokai Yokohama. The box measures 4 3/4 inches across and 3 1/2 inches tall. It weighs 286 grams or 10 ounces.

This is a large and heavy sterling silver teapot from Kuhn and Komor in Yokohama. They were well known during the Meiji Era for their outstanding silvers works. It was created with the popular raised relief Iris over water pattern. The teapot measures 9 inches across and stands 7 inches tall. It is in outstanding condition and weighs 620 grams or about 22 ounces.

This is a beautiful Japanese silver vase from the early Showa period. This vase has a stylized Art Deco look vase and features a sculpted group of 4 flying fish, waves and bubbles. It is a very attractive piece. It also has gilt decorations and several other tone mixed in to the design. The vase stands 9 3/4 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches wide. It is stamped with the silver Jungin mark on the underside and weighs a hefty 21.5 ounces. Condition is excellent.

This is a tall and attractive Japanese bronze vase. It is covered with Chidori and waves. All are highly detailed and the vase retains most of the original rich reddish patina. The condition is very good. The vase is very heavy and stands 13 1/4 inches tall. It is not signed.

This is a wonderful Japanese Iris tea set with some of the best silver workmanship we have come across. Each piece is sturdy and heavy. The set is marked sterling or stamped Jungin ('pure silver') We could find no artist mark. The work is of such high quality that the maker could be Ryounsai or Konoike. If you look very closely you will see that this set several repairs and the tray once had a monogram that was taken out. Total weight of the set is 2940 grams. This is a fabulous and rare set.
This is a beautiful Japanese bronze vase by the master Miyabe Atsuyoshi. Mixed metals including gold and silver were used in its creation. The vase Stands 6 inches tall and is 4 3/8 inches wide. In person the patina is more attractive than the images show. Condition is excellent. There is a tiny scratch that can be see in the last image and what may be old museum numbers etched into the bottom.
