This is a beautiful Japanese Satsuma Teapot. The pot is quite large standing 9 1/2 inches tall. The condition of the decorations is excellent. The lid was repaired but most that look over this piece for this flaw would not be able to tell. It is signed on the underside Kinkozan.

This is an amazing pair of very large Japanese Cloisonne vases. They are 18 inches tall by 10 inches wide and are in excellent condition. This is extraordinary because most large vases have some sort of damage. The intense bamboo, flowers and bluebird work is done in the Hayashi style. The birds have gold wires but the remainder of the work is done in several sizes of silver wires. The rims are silver. Due to the large size these vases were very difficult to photograph...

This is an attractive large Japanese cloisonne vase with fish and blossoming lotus plants. Recently the much more damaged mate to this vase sold for $1009 at auction. This vase has three large exotic goldfish. The fish appear to have been created with gold wires as well as silver wires. The vase displays perfectly but there are several minor lines and a shallow flake under the rim. There are also some partially showing silver wire mixed in and around the upper rim. The vase was made this way...

This is a very rare and exquisite plique-a-jour vase from Yamamoto. I glows with a red hue that looks like a high quality garnet. What makes this vase special is the size and detail. We have not come across any better from this factory. The vase stands 3/5/8 inches tall. The rims appear to me silver and the condition is excellent.

This is a fine piece of Japanese porcelain from Fukagawa. It has colorful and very delicate enameling. The age of the piece could be from the Meiji period because there are some factory imperfections(wood ash)in the glaze along the rim (See images). There is an impressed Fukagawa mark under the glaze on the underside. It is in excellent condition and measures 9 1/2 across.

This is a very fine Japanese Moriage style Cloisonne vase. The vase is not signed. To us it looks most like the work of Hattori, but it could have also been made by Gonda, Kumeno or even Ando. The rims are bronze. Condition is excellent but not perfect. There is a tiny bubble in the center of one of the flower petals. It stands 9 3/4 inches tall.
