| This is a very fine Japanese Cloisonne box. We were told by one of the previous owners that it came from the 1903 World's Fair that was held in St Louis. The box has impeccable enameling and workmanship. It is signed on the bottom Hayashi Tanigoro. Heavy silver rims and silk lined. The box is larger than most being 5 7/8 inches across and 2 1/2 inches tall. Condition is outstanding. | |||||||||||||
