| This is a beautiful Japanese Plique a Jour vase. It is an uncommonly large and rare example of this style of cloisonne. Few pieces this size exist that are undamaged. One of the things that make these pieces so desirable is the way they change in appearance indifferent light. This can be seen in the images. The condition of this vase is excellent. The artist was most likely Ando but the piece is not signed. The vase measures 6 3/4 tall and 6 inches wide. This is an especially fine display piece. | |||||||||
