| This is a beautiful rare Japanese Cloisonne Vase. It was made by Hayashi Kihyoe. The vase features beautiful enamel and silver wire work. Early exhibition quality cloisonne from this artist does not come up often and this is one of those pieces. An interesting silverwire technique used on this piece can be seen in the the images of the lower part of the vase. The irregular shaped pieces were placed horizontally while the vase was being built. The vase stands 9 3/4 inches tall. The vase is in excellent condition. | |||||||||||
