This is a very large Japanese Cloisonne vase from the Ando Factory. It is also a very commanding display piece. It was made in the early Showa period by the Ando factory and is a high quality effort from them. The enamel is very good and the embossed birds/bamboo under the glaze is thicker and much better than on the common pieces. It stands 18 inches tall without the stand and is 11 inches wide. The rims are silver and they are marked on the underside. This vase has the original stand and original padded wood shipping box. Condition of the vase is excellent. The carved wood stand is a little out of round from humidity.
