| This is a fantastic ivory carving of grapes, leaves, and vines. We think it is a Continental carving but are not certain. The ivory carving surrounds an old Wedgwood plaque that is stamped Wedgwood England along with the number 7 or O 7. If it is an example of Continental carving then it is the finest we have ever seen. The ivory might also be Japanese or Chinese. The piece is only 4 ¼ inches by 3 3/8 inches. The plaque is 2 ½ inches across. As it can be seen in the images the ivory is cracked. This can easily be restored. | |||||||
