Furuya-ishi (Furuya-rock) is a kind of viewing stone, found in and around Furuya Wakayama Japan. We can see the steep mountain, valley and waterfalls in this scenic landscape stone. It is in good condition and comes with custom-made wooden stand. Measurements: 3 1/2"(8.9cm) tall and 7 3/4" by 3 1/2"(19.5 x 9 cm) across with the stand.

This Japanese modern Tobe-yaki flower vese was made by Baizan. Baizan is the most famous pottery in Tobe and its kiln was opened in 1882. Measurements: 23 1/2" (59.5cm) tall and 4 7/8" (12.4cm) square. It is in good condition and comes with original signed and stamped wooden box.

Shinya Nakamura (b 1926) is a fellow of the Japan Art Academy. He has be accepted at the Japan Fine Arts Exhibition(Nitten) and received a number of awards. This sculpture is titled "Ten ni kakeru"(Ascend to heaven). Measurements: 9 3/4" (24.7 cm) tall. It is in excellent condition and comes with original signed and stamped wooden box.

This fine marbled ware is called Neriage in Japan made of different colored clays pressed together. It takes a long time to complete. The potter's mark "Yusen" on this Chawan. The kiln is in Tokoname Japan. Measurements : 2 5/8" (6.7 cm) tall and 6" (15.1 cm) in diameter. It is in excellent condition.

This high-fired pottery vase with inlaid design was made by Michiko Daiguji (b.1933). Measurements : 6 3/4" (17 cm) tall and 4 1/8" (10.5 cm) in diameter. It is in perfect condition and comes with original signed and stamped wooden box.

Rare, finely cast and carved incense box is in the shape of monkey drinking gourd of Sake(japanese liquor). It was made from antimony. Measurements: 2 5/8" (6.8cm) widest and 1 1/8" (3cm) thickness. There is small bits of damage on the edge and discolored part on the bottom as shown by the photograhs.

This boat-shaped basket is tightly woven with smoked bamboo with natural roots at the bow, stern and the roof. It has an accompanying copper water container. It is in very good condition. Measurements: 11 1/2" (29 cm) tall, 21 3/8" by 10 5/8" (54 x 27 cm) across.
