Japanese pale blue porcelain vase by Ito Suiko (1894 - 1980), a master of Seiji (celadon) in Kyoto.
He studied under Ito Tozan II, and was active in the Teiten (Japan Art Academy Exhibition) and the Nitten (Japan Fine Arts Exhibition), and was also appointed to a jury.
Artist mark on the base.

Takekoshi Toshiaki (b 1940, Ishikawa prefecture) has be accepted the Japan Fine Arts Exhibition (Nitten) many times and received number of awards (grand prize in 1980 and 1981).

Large porcelain Komainu or foo dog is made in wonderful detail.
Date in the second half of the 20th century.
Signed artist name on the base, we have no information about it.

It is in good condition except for a kamakizu (a scar or crack that happens in a kiln) as seen in the photographs.
