Japanese bamboo flower basket by Maeda Chikubosai II (1917-2003 ), was designated as a Living National Treasure in 1995.
Signed with an inscribed signature by the artist, "Chikubosai Zo Kore" (Chikubosai made it), on the base.

Measurements : H 11 1/4" x W 5 7/8" ( H 28.6 x W 15 cm )
It is in excellent condition.
Comes with original signed and stamped wooden box and lacquered bamboo water container.

Signed "Chikuunsai zo (made)" with an incised signature on the base.

Japanese bamboo flower basket by Wada Waichisai II, active in Osaka.
Waichisai I ( 1851 - 1901 ) was teacher of Tanabe Chikuunsai I ( 1877 - 1937 ).
Signed with an inscribed signature by the artist, "Waichisai zo" (Waichisai made), on the base.

Measurements: H 25 5/8" (65 cm) and W 9 7/8" (25 cm).
It is in good condition and comes with original signed and stamped wooden box.

Unsigned Japanese small bamboo basket with a handle, woven of split smoked bamboo.

Measurements about : 6 3/4 - 7/8" (17 - 17.5 cm) wide and 7" (17.8 cm) tall with handle.
It is in good condition except that has minor damages at one side of the base of the handle as shown in the photo.
