Japanese Kutani Chashintsubo (tea caddy) has pewter neck and cap.
It appear that a tea-virtuoso gave a new shape to Kutani-ware.
Dates the Meiji Period (1868-1912).

Measurements : 4 7/8" (12.4 cm) wide and 4 1/2" (11.5 cm) tall.
Weight about : 554 grams.

Japanese cast bronze vase is decorated in silver-inlay with geometrically design.
Date from the late 19th to the early 20th century.

Japanese wooden lacquer tray with handle.
The decoration on the tray depicts swallows and willow with very fine black lacquer painting on the ochre lacquer ground.
The handle is decorated with design of shells in gold and silver makie.

Measurements (about) : 7 3/4" (19.8 cm) by 7 3/4" (19.6 cm) and 5 3/4" (14.6 cm) tall...

Japanese Wajima-nuri suzuribako (writing box) is decorated with chinkin (engraved design with gold leaf or powdered gold filled in grooves) and small silver beads on the roiro (black lacquer) ground.

Measurements about : 10 1/2" (26.6.cm) by 8 3/8" (21.2 cm) and 1 7/8" (4.8 cm) hight.
It is in excellent condition and comes with original wooden box....

This tsuba is made of Yamagane (copper from crude ore mined).
There is a crab and a bamboo leaf inlaid with shakudo and gold, and on the other side the flow of a river inlaid with silver.

Measurements about : 3 1/8" (7.8 cm) x 3" (7.6 cm) x 1/8" (0.4 cm).
Weight about : 160 grams.
It is in good condition with small scratches on the surface....

A set of 10 pieces very fine original paintings of fishes are painted with water-colors on silk shikishi ( square fancy cardboard ).
Signed artist name "Bakufu" and sealed on each works.
Ohno Bakufu (1895-1976), his best known include "Familiar fishes of Japan".

The early 20th century Bizen-wate Chaire or tea container is having a ivory lid.
The Chaire called "Katatsuki" has pronounced shoulders near the neck.
