Japanese pale blue porcelain vase by Ito Suiko (1894 - 1980), a master of Seiji (celadon) in Kyoto.
He studied under Ito Tozan II, and was active in the Teiten (Japan Art Academy Exhibition) and the Nitten (Japan Fine Arts Exhibition), and was also appointed to a jury.
Artist mark on the base.

Beautiful shaped bronze vessel is made very thin.
It would appear that was used as wine container.
It was in the collection of Japanese collector and fit into ordered wooden box, signed "Chosen Seido Hanaire (Korean Bronze Vase)" on the box top.
Koryo Dynasty 918-1391.

Measurements : 10 3/4" (27.3 cm) tall and 6" (15.2 cm) in diameter.
Weight about : 775 grams.
Due to its great age, it has a dent in the lower part and a crack in the bottom.

Made by lacquer-artist Asobe Koseki, active in Kyoto in the mid 20th century.

Japanese Rinpa-style wooden lacquer box is decorated with design of aristocracies in Heian period with taka-makie ( raised makie ) and mother-of-pearl inlay on the matte black lacquer ground.
The interiors and the base are covered with glossy black lacquer (ro-iro).
