Rare and fine carved lacquer Senbai or Chago is in the shape of a lotus leaf with tortoise.
Japanese green tea Sencha tool Senbai is used in order to fill a teapot with tea leaves.
The lid of the old wooden box says "Tsuishu (Carved cinnabar lacquer) Senbai (scoop for green tea leaves)".

He studied metal casting under Katori Masahiko (1899 - 1988). Artist signature "Kankei" with a cast on the base.

Weight about : 3.6 kilograms.

19C Japanese metal case is decorated in hand hammered relief with an eagle catch a snake against the background of a waterfall.
The hole through which string passes is in a relief of a sparrow.

The clasp of the leather tobacco pouch is in the shape of tiger.
The tiger is made of Shakudo (alloy of copper and gold) with gold inlay.
Date Meiji period.

Measurements : 5" (12.6 cm) by 2 7/8" (7.3 cm). The tiger clasp 1 7/8" (4.7 cm) wide.
It is in good condition with slight open seams at the pouch.

Daikoku is one of the Seven Lucky Gods of Japan, deity of good luck and good fortune, and is standing on two rice bales, holding a hammer in the right hand and carrying the big sack over his left shoulder.
Date the 19th century.

Measurements about : 5 3/4" (14.5 cm) tall, 3 7/8" (10 cm) wide and 2 3/4" (7 cm) deep.
Simplified shape carving sculpture is from single piece of the wood.
It is in good condition expect that there are aged scratches on the surface.

This finely skillful okimono (sculpted object), formed of a piece of bamboo with a snail, is carved from single piece of wood and colored.
Made by Urakusai Shiho, be active in Nara prefecture. We have no more information about the artist.
The sign of the artist is caved on the end of the base.

Measurements : 5 3/8" (13.6 cm) long.
The work is in good condition and comes with original wooden box (tomobako).
The tomobako was repaired.

These wonderful small Fusuma (sliding door) of Tenbukuro, a small cupboard at the top of the space in a room of Shoin style, has Sansui-ga (landscape picture).
It appear that these sansui-ga were painted by the painter of Kano school.
The left one has the artist seal. We have no information about the artist.

Painted with ink and color on silk, and each Fusuma has black copper Hikite (door pull) and black-lacquered wooden frame...

Ugashin is a god of good fortune and agriculture in snake form.
Also a pair of foxes are depicted. They are messenger of Inari, Japanese deity of fertility, agriculture, industry and worldly success.
The 3 characters in the lower part are read "Ugashin or Ugajin".
