Japanese Suaka (pure copper) Suiteki has gold and silver relief featuring an anchor. Suiteki or water dropper is one of calligraphy utensils, to drop small amounts of water on the ink stone. Fit into a Suzuribako (writing box) or on a writing desk together with inkstone and ink brush. Date from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Measurements : 1 5/8" (4 cm) by 1" (2.6 cm) and 1/2" (1.3 cm) hight. It is in good condition. |
