Japanese bronze Binkake Hibachi is a tool to boil a kettle for Sencha (leaf tea) ceremony. It has a pair of bat shaped ornament with loop handles. Date from the late 19C to the early 20C. Measurements about : 13 1/8" (33.4 cm) by 11 1/2" (29.2 cm) and 7 3/4" (19.7 cm) hight. Weight about : 4.8 kilograms.
