Wooden tray is decorated with gold makie and colored lacquers on the black lacquer ground. The handle and the center of feather duster (utensil of tea ceremony) and the mouse with taka-makie (raised makie). Date from the early to the mid 20th century. Measurements : 14 1/8" (36 cm) by 9 5/8" (24.5 cm) and 1 5/8" (4 cm) height. It is in good condition. http://gotoantiques.com/ |
