Japanese bamboo flower basket by Wada Waichisai II, active in Osaka. Waichisai I ( 1851 - 1901 ) was teacher of Tanabe Chikuunsai I ( 1877 - 1937 ). Signed with an inscribed signature by the artist, "Waichisai zo" (Waichisai made), on the base. Measurements: H 25 5/8" (65 cm) and W 9 7/8" (25 cm).
